If the seller is not comfortable publishing his or her email address, then the seller should use the Private Communication option. Under the Private Communication setting, the seller’s email address will not be displayed within the ads or other public areas of the Community Classifieds web site. Any messages received through the seller’s ads will be delivered to the My Messages tool and to the email address specified in the account settings. To keep the seller’s email address private from other Community Classifieds users, the seller must use the My Messages tool to respond to these messages.

To enable Private Communication, follow these steps:

1) Log into Community Classifieds

2) Click on My Messages in the top menu bar

3) Click the Communication Preferences link

4) Click the radio button next to Private Communication

5) Click the Save Communication Preferences button
